The "O‘zgidromet" service has warned of the risk of avalanches in several mountainous regions of the country due to expected precipitation and sharp changes in air temperature from January 27 to 30. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to experts, it is necessary to strengthen precautionary measures in areas where the risk is high during these days. In Qashqadaryo region, the districts of Dehqonobod, Kitob, Qamashi, and Shahrisabz; in Surxondaryo region, the districts of Boysun, Qumqo‘rg‘on, Sariosiyo, and Uzun; in Samarqand region, the districts of Nurobod, Qo‘shrabot, Samarqand, and Urgut; in Jizzakh region, the districts of Baxmal and Zomin; in Toshkent region, the districts of Bo‘stonliq, Parkent, and Ohangaron, including the Chotqol mountain range areas; as well as in Pop district of Namangan region, there is a risk of avalanches.

Meteorologists advise residents living in mountainous areas, vacationers, and drivers traveling in these directions to be especially cautious, avoid unnecessary trips, and strictly follow safety rules. According to the information, the unstable weather may continue.
