Tashkent remains the region with the highest income

According to the results of 2025, Tashkent city has maintained its position as the region with the highest income among the population. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to data provided by the National Statistics Committee, the average monthly nominal salary in the capital reached 10.3 million soms. This was reported by podrobno.uz.
Income growth was also significant in other regions of the republic. Specifically, salaries increased by 22.8% in Namangan region, 20.8% in Sirdarya, and 20.5% in Jizzakh.
At the same time, the lowest growth was recorded in Andijan region, where the indicator was 13.4%. According to preliminary data, the average monthly nominal salary across Uzbekistan reached 6.38 million soms.
By sector, the highest salaries are recorded in the finance sector. Employees in banking, insurance, and leasing sectors receive an average salary of 17.59 million soms.
It has been found that over the last five years, the income of finance sector employees has nearly doubled. Additionally, the IT sector has also achieved significant progress in income growth.
In the information and communication field, employees' salaries increased by 9.7 million soms over five years, making this sector the second highest in terms of salaries. The transport and logistics sector ranks among the top three for long-term growth.
In this sector, the average salary increased by 5.4 million soms compared to 2021. Growth rates were also observed in the arts, entertainment, and recreation sector.
In this sector, employees' income increased by 25% within a year, reaching 5.44 million soms. Although this sector still lags behind the leading sectors, its growth dynamics are assessed positively.
