A new procedure for social assistance for youth will be introduced

Starting from February 1, 2026, a new procedure for providing social assistance to youth through the "Youth Register" funds will be introduced. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
From now on, such assistance will only be provided to young people from families included in the "Register of Poor Families." This aid will be granted based on a social contract concluded with the youth.
One of the most interesting changes in the new system is partial support for students' contract payments. If young people are studying in vocational or higher education, up to 50 percent of their contract amount may be covered.
However, this assistance will not be allocated automatically in the same amount for everyone. The payment amount will depend on how well the youth fulfill the terms of the social contract.
Additionally, the total amount of assistance should not exceed 50 times the established base calculation index (BHM) for each academic year. This means that no matter how large the contract sum is, the covered amount will not exceed a certain limit.
The main goal of this change is to target the assistance and deliver funds to truly needy youth. At the same time, increasing responsibility is also considered an important task.
The new procedure encourages young people to approach their education with responsibility. In other words, if you have chosen to study, the results and discipline should correspond accordingly.
If you or your relatives want to benefit from such assistance, you need to prepare your documents and act according to the requirements of the social contract. Because this aid is not a simple bonus but an important investment aimed at the future.
