A single electronic system has been introduced for Hajj and Umrah

A new procedure has been introduced in Uzbekistan for organizing Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This innovation is being implemented based on Resolution No. 27 adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan on January 24, 2026. The resolution aims to digitize and further improve the sector.
According to this resolution, the "Single Portal for Hajj and Umrah" has been launched in the country. Now, citizens wishing to perform the sacred pilgrimage must register through this portal.
The requirement to enter information through the single electronic system is established to organize Hajj and Umrah trips more effectively. The new procedure will be implemented gradually.
Specifically, from February 1, 2026, registration for the Hajj pilgrimage, and from May 1, 2026, registration for the Umrah pilgrimage will only be carried out through the portal. If the information about pilgrims is not entered into this portal database, travel arrangements will not be permitted.
Such measures are aimed at ensuring transparency in the pilgrimage processes, strengthening order and discipline, and increasing efficiency. The new system is expected to create convenience for citizens and serve to organize Hajj and Umrah events based on modern requirements.
