Procedure for obtaining a driver's license has been simplified

Starting from February 1, 2026, changes will be made to the procedure for obtaining a driver's license. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

From now on, attending theoretical lessons for obtaining a driver's license in categories A and B is optional. Citizens will be able to study and master the theoretical knowledge independently.

However, practical training remains essential and must be fully completed. It is not possible to waive practical training.

All these processes will be monitored through an electronic system and officially recorded. These changes are being implemented to create convenience for citizens, ease the learning process, and simplify the procedure for obtaining a driver's license.
