The President reviewed the "New Uzbekistan" complex in Jarqo‘rg‘on

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the "New Uzbekistan" complex being constructed in Jarqo‘rg‘on district of Surxondaryo region. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This complex is part of the large-scale efforts underway in our country to create decent living conditions for the population. In accordance with the President's decree dated October 12, 2021, the construction of "New Uzbekistan" complexes is progressing steadily.
The complex in Jarqo‘rg‘on is being built based on modern urban planning requirements. On an area of 50 hectares, the construction of 116 multi-storey buildings is planned, and so far, 1500 apartments in 68 buildings have been handed over for use.
The area features a polyclinic, a kindergarten with 180 places, a school with 330 places, a neighborhood building, and an information technology and English language learning center. Drinking water, gas, and heating pipelines have been installed in the area, and a transformer with a capacity of 250 kV has been set up.
Additionally, scenic and fruit trees have been planted on 4.5 hectares of land. During his visit, the President familiarized himself with the activities of School No. 66 in the complex.
More than 500 students are studying at the school. Special conditions have been created for children with disabilities, and they are provided education based on modern standards.
The schoolyard, gym, classrooms, and other infrastructure are equipped with necessary amenities. The President emphasized the importance of education programs on artificial intelligence and digitalization at the school.
Furthermore, the head of state visited the foreign languages and information technology learning center. Built with a budget of 6.5 billion soums, this center provides opportunities for over 2,000 young people to receive education.
Many young people here have succeeded in obtaining certificates in computer literacy and foreign languages. The President highly appreciated the activities in the complex and engaged in sincere dialogue with the residents.
He stressed that the "New Uzbekistan" complexes are aimed at creating prosperous living conditions for our people and further developing our country by focusing on education and science. This visit by our President became an important step towards creating new opportunities and implementing promising projects for the population.
