Israel–Egypt border: Uzbekistan embassy warned

The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Israel has released new information regarding the Israel-Egypt border. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the official statement from the embassy, the "Begin" ("Taba") border crossing point located between Israel and Egypt is currently operating continuously, that is, 24 hours a day. It was emphasized that Uzbek citizens do not require a visa to enter the Sinai Peninsula region if they possess valid and genuine documents.
Additionally, to avoid inconveniences during the border crossing process, it is recommended to pay border fees online in advance. Considering the security situation, the embassy currently does not consider it advisable to use other land border crossing points.
Furthermore, it was warned that the operating schedule of the crossing points at the Israel–Egypt border may change within a short period. Therefore, citizens are advised to verify the latest information through official sources before traveling.
