This goal is outlined in the "Uzbekistan – 2030" strategy approved on February 16, 2026. According to this strategy, currently, citizens of Uzbekistan can travel visa-free to 34 countries.
By 2026, this number will be increased to 36, and in 2027 it will rise to 38 countries. By 2028, it is planned to reach 42 countries, 46 countries in 2029, and by 2030, the number is expected to reach 50 countries.
Currently, a simplified visa procedure is in place for 42 countries, and this number is planned to be increased to 60 by 2030. Additionally, a special mobile platform for consular services is being developed, and it is planned to increase the number of users of this platform to up to 60,000.
For reference, in 2025, a visa-free regime was introduced for China and Jordan. These measures will further facilitate travel abroad for citizens of Uzbekistan.
