Gas quota extended for the winter heating season

The Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan has officially announced that the basic quota for natural gas set for the winter heating season has been extended until March 15, 2026. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This decision was made based on updated weather forecasts. Due to the continued possibility of cold air flows entering various regions of the country, measures to support the population are being strengthened.
The basic quota of 500 cubic meters established for the heating season will be valid in all regions until March 15. Additionally, weather conditions will be taken into account after March 15, and if necessary, additional measures may be implemented.
Previously, this regulation applied only to the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region, but now it has been extended to all regions of the republic. These measures are aimed at ensuring the comfort of the population during the winter season.
