Super-contracts will be canceled in medical universities

Significant changes are expected in the admission system of medical higher education institutions in Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Starting from the next academic year, it is proposed to completely abolish the super-contract system in medical fields. This change could provide great relief for applicants and their parents.
Additionally, a new system is planned to be introduced in the educational process. A 6-year study system in the form of 5+1 will be implemented in the "General Medicine" field, aimed at strengthening students' practical skills.
New requirements are also being set for passing scores in state exams. The minimum passing score for medical specialties is planned to be set at 70 percent, and for mid-level medical staff at 60 percent.
These measures are being implemented to improve the quality of medical education and to train highly qualified personnel in the field. Through these reforms, the medical education system in the country is expected to be further enhanced.
