Cold weather and precipitation are expected in Uzbekistan from March 9 to 12

Significant changes in weather conditions are expected in Uzbekistan in the near future. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to "O'zgidromet" data, cold and humid airflows will enter the country's territory from March 9 to 12. Therefore, precipitation may occur in many regions, and in some places, rain may turn into snow.
Meteorologists emphasize that from March 9 to 11, rain is expected across the entire country, with mixed rain and snow in some areas. In mountainous and foothill regions, precipitation may intensify, and there is a risk of landslides and floods in certain places.
Wind intensification is also expected, with speeds reaching 15-20 meters per second in some areas, and up to 22-25 meters per second in others. This will cause the cold to be felt even more strongly in the air.
The coldest period will be observed from March 10 to 12. In the northern regions of the republic, nighttime temperatures are expected to drop to 7-10 degrees below zero, and daytime temperatures to 0-3 degrees below zero.
In other regions, nighttime temperatures on March 11-12 are forecasted to be 0-3 degrees below zero, with daytime temperatures ranging from 2 to 5 degrees above zero. In Tashkent city, rainy and sharply cold weather is also expected from March 9 to 12.
The spring season will take a short break, so umbrellas, warm clothing, and precautions will again be necessary. It is especially recommended that residents of mountainous and foothill areas, or those planning to travel, closely monitor weather warnings.
