The President signed a new decree against violence

Our President emphasized at the event that creating an uncompromising environment against pressure and violence towards women and children is an important task. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The head of state announced the signing of a new decree in this regard and stated that a strict system will be implemented to combat violence. In addition, attention was also paid to the issue of reintegrating women who have committed crimes back into social life.

Since many women lack professional skills, a special "New Life" program will be established for them. Within the framework of this program, women will be trained in professions for 3-6 months and will receive certificates.

Furthermore, women held in penal institutions will be given the opportunity to pursue higher education. They will be able to take exams and study through distance learning while in the institution.

To cover contract fees, interest-free loans will be provided with the condition of repayment after employment. These measures will help women reintegrate fully into society as active members.
