Education opportunities for women in Uzbekistan are expanding

Starting from the new academic year in Uzbekistan, a number of privileges are being introduced to support women's education and scientific research. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
First of all, the quota for state grants allocated to women from needy families has been doubled and set at 4,000. This innovation will expand the opportunities for thousands of young people to receive higher education.
Additionally, contract fees for girls studying at the master's level in cooperation with 300 universities ranked highly in international ratings will be paid by the state. This step creates a great opportunity for talented youth to acquire knowledge based on international standards.
At the same time, girls who have completed school and enrolled in state technical colleges will receive full state grants for vocational training. This aims to ensure that young people successfully engage in the labor market and become qualified specialists.
To support women's innovative ideas, startup competitions will be held annually in at least 10 directions. Winners in each direction will be awarded grant funds of up to 500 million soums by the Innovation Fund.
