New roads connecting Tashkent to Samarkand, Andijan, and Chorbog will be built.

Important projects for the construction of three major toll highways have been presented to further develop the transport sector within Uzbekistan and strengthen domestic connections. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
These new highways will connect the city of Tashkent with historic Samarkand, Andijan located in the west, and Chorbog‘, considered a northwestern region, according to modern standards. The new roads will not only provide convenience but also significantly reduce travel time.
In particular, the travel time between Tashkent and Andijan cities will now be only two and a half hours. To achieve this, a forty-three-kilometer-long tunnel passing underground is planned to be constructed.
Reputable companies from China, France, Turkey, Qatar, and South Korea are participating in the implementation of the projects. Attracting investors with international experience will ensure construction quality in accordance with global standards.
Currently, construction work on the highway in the Chorbog‘ direction is planned, with full completion expected within three years. These initiatives will be an important step in fundamentally improving the logistics system in our country and strengthening regional economic ties.
The introduction of toll roads will provide drivers with safe, convenient, and fast movement opportunities. This, in turn, opens up broad opportunities for the quality of life and business activities of the population.
In the future, the number of such infrastructure facilities will increase, and the road network across the entire country will further develop.
