Roads in Tashkent flooded after heavy rain

On the night from March 3 to March 4 of this year, rainy and unfavorable weather conditions were observed in the Uchtepa district of Tashkent. Zamin.uz reported on this.
Due to heavy rainfall, a large amount of water accumulated at the intersection of Guliston Street and the Tashkent ring roads. This situation caused difficulties for drivers and road users, temporarily hindering the free movement of vehicles.
Immediately after the situation arose, officials from the Ministry for Emergency Situations and representatives of other relevant organizations arrived at the scene. Using special equipment and machinery, they began to drain excess water from the roadway.
Thanks to the rapid and orderly execution of these operations, the area was cleared within a short time. Currently, traffic safety at the mentioned intersection is fully ensured, and all vehicles are moving freely along their routes without any obstacles.
As a result of the cooperation between city services and emergency services, the emerging problem was quickly resolved. This incident once again highlighted the need to enhance the city's infrastructure and road system capacity for rapid drainage of rainwater.
Additional measures are expected to be taken in the future to prevent such situations and further improve safety. Drivers are advised to exercise caution on days of unfavorable weather and strictly adhere to road signs.
