Study conditions are being relaxed for pregnant and student mothers.

New and humane changes are planned to be implemented in the higher education system. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Starting from the 2026-2027 academic year, favorable conditions will be created for pregnant female students and students raising children up to three years old to continue their studies. These measures are of great importance to ensure that they do not give up their education path and serve society in the future as highly qualified specialists.
Until now, new opportunities are being set as exceptions for some individuals who have fallen behind in courses or have been expelled from the student body during the educational process. If a student faces difficulties in mastering subjects, additional time will be given to make up the difference.
At the same time, all necessary conditions will be provided for them to independently acquire knowledge comfortably. This will greatly help students to complete their education on time.
The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations must present a number of proposals to the Cabinet of Ministers within three months that should be introduced in the future. In particular, during academic leave, pregnant students and students with young children will be given the opportunity to attend classes in a remote learning format at their discretion.
This method is designed so that they do not abandon their studies while fulfilling their family responsibilities. Also, it is planned to increase admission rates for personnel training through remote education.
This will serve to expand the number of study places for students in this category. The final and most important point is that separate statistical data will be maintained about pregnant students and students with children up to three years old who have taken academic leave or temporarily withdrawn from studies.
This will enable a more precise and effective state approach to this issue in the future. The purpose of all measures is to create fair and equal opportunities for every student.
