Air flights have been resumed between Uzbekistan and Arab countries.

According to the new decision adopted by the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan, starting from the tenth of this month, bilateral passenger flights to the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia routes are being restored. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This important decree has been officially delivered to all national and foreign airlines operating in our country. It is worth noting that due to the complicated situation in the Middle East and the temporary closure of the airspace, Umrah trips organized by the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan and tourism operators were temporarily suspended from the tenth of the month.
Now these issues have been resolved and the opportunity has been created for the continuation of pilgrimage trips. According to official instructions, airlines must strictly comply with international air traffic rules, safety requirements, and all regulations established by the authorized bodies of Saudi Arabia and the UAE when operating flights.
In particular, it was emphasized that on flights heading to Saudi Arabia, since the Umrah season is ending and before the start of the 2026 Hajj season, all pilgrims must leave the country. This requirement is important for properly organizing the pilgrims' travel plans and ensuring they do not overstay.
This permission granted by the Ministry of Transport has been good news for many Uzbek pilgrims and tourists. Currently, airlines are reviewing flight schedules and coordinating their activities to provide convenience to passengers.
Pilgrims are asked to contact their respective tour operators to obtain accurate information about flight times and procedures. The ministry is continuously monitoring the situation and taking all necessary measures to ensure flight safety.
At the same time, the public is advised to plan their trips carefully.
