The first day of Ramadan may fall on March 20 this year.

The Fatwa Council under the Organization of Turkic States informed during its recent meeting that there is a possibility that Eid al-Fitr will fall on March 20 next year. Zamin.uz reported this news.
The reason why this news is particularly important for our people is that the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan is also a full-fledged member of said council. Therefore, the decisions adopted by the council and its conclusions regarding the holiday date hold great significance in our country as well.
If, in the coming days, the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan also confirms this date, it means that our blessed month of Ramadan this year must end in 29 days. This situation could bring interesting changes both from a calendar perspective and for the lives of our people.
The short duration of Ramadan, while creating practical convenience for some individuals, also means that the holiday will arrive sooner. Currently, lively discussions are being observed in society around this question.
Many family members and representatives of the religious sphere are eagerly awaiting official information. Because the precise determination of the holiday date provides every Muslim with the opportunity to perform worship correctly and celebrate the holiday joyfully.
Therefore, the official statement to be issued by the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan in the coming days will have decisive importance for our people. Every citizen hopes that on this day all issues will be settled and the holiday will be celebrated with joy.
