A new toll highway will be launched between Tashkent and Samarkand

Soon, the roads between the cities of Tashkent and Samarkand will become much more comfortable and faster thanks to a new type of infrastructure. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The new toll highway, starting from the Sergeli district and going directly to Samarkand, has had its first phases of construction completed and opened for use in a short time. For drivers traveling along this road, the travel time will not only be shortened but will also gradually ease the distance between the two major cities.
Currently, the final construction works of the road have been completed, and it will soon be fully operational. According to experts in highways and road construction, this new route will serve not only the Tashkent-Samarkand direction but also the city of Andijan and the Chorvoq reservoir routes.
The commissioning of the new highway is of great importance in solving the population's transport problems. Drivers will now be freed from traffic jams and slow-moving roads within the city and will reach their destinations within a few hours.
Travel time from Tashkent to Samarkand via this road will be reduced to two hours or even less. This will expand opportunities for intercity trade, tourism, and faster connectivity between people.
Accelerating the road network is one of the important factors for economic development. In the future, freight transportation via this road will also be simplified, and the efficiency of logistics processes will increase.
Thus, the new highway is an important step in modernizing our republic's transport system to meet current demands and will provide great convenience to our people.
