The number of children born to young parents has increased by more than half.

Recent data released by the National Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan shows that throughout last year, birth cases in our country were clearly distributed according to the age groups of mothers. Zamin.uz reported on this.
These figures serve as an important basis for a deeper understanding of demographic processes in our society and attitudes toward forming families. The number of children born to mothers under the age of 25, representing the most active young segment of society, amounted to 355,111.
This figure accounts for nearly half of the total number of births, making up 40.4 percent. In second place are women aged between 25 and 39 years.
The number of children born to this group totaled 512,034, corresponding to 58.2 percent of the overall figure. This proves that this age range is indeed the most stable period for forming families and having children.
At the same time, the number of births to mothers over 40 years old also draws attention. A total of 12,454 children were born to mothers in this age group, accounting for 1.4 percent of the total figure.
It is known that a total of 879,599 birth cases were registered across Uzbekistan throughout last year. This statistics is not merely a collection of numbers but expresses the deep meaning regarding family values and the sanctity of motherhood in our society.
Although the trend of forming families prevails among young people, the desire of women over 40 to become mothers also indicates an increased respect for the institution of motherhood in society. These indicators across each age group are of great importance for the stable development of future generations and the demographic health of our country.
