The 2026 Navruz Festival will be held on a large scale in Tashkent

The Tashkent city administration plans to hold the 2026 Navruz holiday with large-scale public and entertainment events in various parts of the capital. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The holiday program will be organized at main and additional locations. The main holiday venues are as follows: On March 21-22, the “Voice of Uzbekistan” tourism street will be the main center of the holiday.
During these days, events will also take place on the Taras Shevchenko gastronomic street. From March 21 to 23, the holiday program will continue at the “Navruz” ethno park.
On March 21, special events will be held on the Al-Khwarizmi tourism street. Additional events will be organized in the following areas: Yunusabad district, in front of the Gallery complex; Bektimir district, “Coca Cola” park; Mirzo Ulugbek district, “Central Park”; Sergeli district, central boulevard; Olmazor district, Student campus (near Beruniy metro); Shaykhontohur district, “Anhor Lokomotiv” and “Tashkent City” parks; Uchtepa district, “Seoul” eco-park; Chilanzar district, Gafur Gulyam park; Yakkasaray district, “Next” shopping complex; Yashnobod district, “Ashgabat promenade” park; Yangihayot district, “Mehrigiyo” square.
Participants of the holiday will have the opportunity to see and taste national dishes and spring delicacies at these locations. It will be possible to closely observe the preparation processes of sumalak, halim, samsa, and traditional pilaf.
Also, live concert programs by famous artists will be organized. Craft exhibitions and practical art demonstrations will also take place.
National games, interesting competitions, and folk performances will add a special atmosphere to the holiday. Thus, residents and guests of the capital will be able to spend a day full of national traditions, dishes, and entertainment events during the Navruz holiday, fully feeling the new spirit of spring.
