The spring holiday dedicated to the spirit of Ramadan begins on March 20.

According to the latest announcement from the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the spring holiday for the current academic year will begin on March 20. Zamin.uz reported this news.
This decision was made in connection with Eid al-Fitr falling exactly on this date. The designated days off for students and teachers will cover the period from March 20 to March 28.
Thus, the educational process in schools will be temporarily suspended. The fourth quarter of the academic year will resume as usual on March 30, which is a Monday.
Lessons and study hours lost due to the holiday days will be conducted in a condensed manner under special arrangements during the fourth quarter. For this purpose, lessons scheduled for Friday, March 20, and Saturday, March 28, will also be taken into account.
This measure is aimed at ensuring that students' level of knowledge does not decline and that they fully meet the requirements of the curriculum. Recalling the official holiday schedule approved by the state, March 20 is celebrated as Eid al-Fitr.
The following day, March 21, is the internationally recognized Nowruz holiday. March 22 has been designated as a general day off, during which work processes will be suspended in many agencies and institutions.
Furthermore, March 23 has also been designated as a day off for organizations that have transitioned to a five-day work week, since it is a rest day for those working under the five-day regime. In places that have transitioned to a six-day work week, March 23 is considered a working day.
This arrangement creates convenience for students and employees as well as provides the opportunity to properly celebrate the holidays.
