Holiday preparations at Victory Park and changes in museum admission procedures

Extensive preparations have begun in the Victory Park area, one of the central parts of Tashkent city, in connection with the Day of Remembrance and Honor on May 9. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Currently, landscaping measures are being taken to improve the overall appearance of the park. Additionally, work is underway to install new educational materials and expositions for visitors.
Due to these technical and organizational works, the entry procedure to the State Museum of Military Glory will change. Specifically, access to the museum building will be temporarily suspended from April 25 until May 1.
However, during this period, tourists and city residents can visit the open areas of Victory Park as usual. As preparations reach their final stage, security measures will be further strengthened.
Therefore, access to the Victory Park memorial complex and museum area will be completely restricted from May 6 to May 8. It was stated that these restrictions have been introduced in order to organize the holiday events at a high level and ensure security.
We ask visitors to accommodate these changes during this period. The park will be open to everyone on the holiday days, and remembrance events will be carried out as planned.
