New Generation Entrepreneurs Program for Youth to Launch in Uzbekistan

An important step has been taken in supporting youth entrepreneurship initiatives and ensuring their employment in our country, as reported by Zamin.uz. According to a new resolution adopted on April 20 of this year, a special program titled 'New Generation Entrepreneurs' will be launched.
This initiative is an integral part of the 'Youth of New Uzbekistan – 2030' strategy and serves to enhance the business knowledge and skills of the younger generation. According to the plans, 20,000 young men and women will be trained in the fundamentals of entrepreneurship under this program by 2030.
The training processes will be organized with the participation of local and foreign experts, focusing primarily on practical exercises. Furthermore, establishing close cooperation with private sector representatives will help young people adapt to real market conditions.
During the sessions, key areas such as developing business projects, bringing products to market, and scaling operations will be taught in detail. In the final stage of the program, participants will undergo special testing.
Certificates will be awarded to 1,000 young people who achieve the highest results. Holders of these documents will receive financial support on favorable terms to start their own businesses.
Specifically, they will be granted preferential loans for a term of up to three years, with a six-month grace period, at an interest rate equal to half of the Central Bank's base rate. Additionally, the state budget is expected to cover part of the costs related to the establishment of new farms and infrastructure.
Such opportunities will create a foundation for young people to take a worthy place in the economy.
