Shavkat Mirziyoyev Visited Mirzo Ulugbek District and Recalled Past Memories

On April 23, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, visited the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent city, as reported by Zamin.uz. The visit was organized to reflect on the President's past professional activities and to observe the current transformations in the district.
During the event, interesting information and historical artifacts from the President's early years of leadership were presented to the public. Notably, the service vehicle used by Shavkat Mirziyoyev during his tenure as the governor (khokim) of this district from 1992 to 1996 was put on display.
This Volga car, a distinctive symbol of that era, is now carefully preserved as a valuable historical exhibit. The vehicle represents not only the leader's work history but also the professional atmosphere of the early years of the country's independence.
Additionally, a replica of the office reflecting the work process of those years was reconstructed as part of the visit. The office features equipment and tools characteristic of that period, vividly illustrating the spiritual connection between the past and the present.
This approach serves as a mark of respect for the President's career path and acts as an exemplary school for the younger generation. While reviewing the activities of the district administration, the Head of State paid special attention to the construction and landscaping work being carried out in the area.
New infrastructure projects and social sector changes aimed at increasing public welfare were also discussed. The President gave specific instructions to officials regarding the further development of the district, the implementation of modern technologies, and the improvement of living conditions.
This visit is expected to provide a new impetus for the future progress of the Mirzo Ulugbek district.
