Shavkat Mirziyoyev Reviews Improvement Works in Bogimaydon Neighborhood

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Bogimaydon neighborhood in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent to review the extensive development and construction work carried out there. This visit demonstrated the practical results of reforms aimed at the comprehensive development of neighborhoods and the creation of decent living conditions for the population.
Today, Bogimaydon has taken on a modern appearance, becoming one of the most well-maintained areas of the capital. Established in the 1980s, the neighborhood now consists of more than fifty multi-story buildings.
In recent years, significant landscaping and modernization projects have been completed in this area, which is home to nearly 5,500 residents. Specifically, all necessary conditions have been created for leisure and youth sports.
The construction of twenty children's playgrounds, over ten workout zones, and modern football and tennis courts serves to promote public health. Special attention has also been paid to increasing economic activity and ensuring employment.
Currently, more than seventy businesses operate successfully in the area. It was noted that youth employment indicators are particularly encouraging.
Furthermore, the local eco-park and the center for the elderly serve as vital links in enhancing community cohesion. During the visit, the Head of State also reviewed the digital security systems implemented in the neighborhood.
The installation of video surveillance at residential entrances and the monitoring of vehicle traffic help maintain peace and order. In a conversation with community activists, the President emphasized that a prosperous and harmonious neighborhood is a solid pillar of society, and that preserving peace and social solidarity remains a top priority.
At the conclusion of the visit, the President participated in national holiday celebrations and engaged in sincere dialogue with elders and youth. He provided recommendations on preserving national values and raising the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism.
During the meeting with young people at the sports grounds, the incomparable role of physical education and a healthy lifestyle was once again reaffirmed.
