Housing Rental Prices in Tashkent Increase Significantly

Prices in the housing rental market in Tashkent continue to rise. According to Zamin.uz, by the end of March this year, a significant increase in the average cost of residential rentals was observed in the capital.
Based on analytical data, the average rental price per square meter in the city amounted to nearly nine dollars. This figure is almost three percent higher than in February and more than ten percent higher compared to the same period last year.
This situation indicates that demand in the capital's real estate market remains high. According to the Center for Economic Research and Reforms, the highest rental prices are still maintained in the central and developed areas of the city.
Specifically, housing rentals in Mirabad, Shaykhantahur, Yakkasaray, and Mirzo Ulugbek districts are considered much more expensive than in other areas. The average amount paid per square meter in these districts reached eleven dollars.
This is explained by the better infrastructure and proximity to business centers in these areas. At the same time, unexpected results were recorded in some districts regarding annual growth rates.
For example, in the Yashnabad district, rental prices increased by almost nineteen percent over the year, leading the capital in this regard. Additionally, price growth in the Mirzo Ulugbek and Yakkasaray districts also exceeded ten percent.
According to experts, such growth rates are directly related to the interest in newly built residential complexes and the growing population of the city. Stable growth in the capital's rental market is expected to continue in the future.
