SMS Notification Service Fees for Humo Cards to Double

Starting May 1 of this year, SMS notification tariffs for Humo payment system cards in Uzbekistan will double. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to information provided by the content provider Octotelecom, the price for each incoming message from the short number 13131 will increase from the current 84.2 soums to 168.4 soums. Major mobile network operators in the country, including Mobiuz, Ucell, and Beeline, have already officially notified their customers about this change.
Representatives of the responsible companies explain the price hike by several objective factors. The main reasons cited include increased costs for maintaining technical infrastructure, developing modern software, and ensuring a high level of service security.
Additionally, the recent rise in energy resource prices and license fees has prompted the tariff revision. If a user does not wish to use this service, they can disable notifications by sending a specific keyword to the short number 13131.
Furthermore, the price for the special SMS information service provided by the Click payment organization will also be set at 168.4 soums starting next month. It is worth noting that SMS notification tariffs for the Uzcard payment system were previously increased to the same level.
One-time codes for confirming transactions in the Humo system are also sent via this number, and the message delivery fee is deducted from the user's mobile balance. These changes are being implemented in accordance with the economic demands of the digital services market.
