Shavkat Mirziyoyev Inspects the New Pavilion Shopping Complex in Tashkent

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the newly constructed Pavilion shopping complex in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent. This modern project marks a significant step toward enhancing the capital's trade potential and regulating the construction materials market.
With a total value of $25 million, the complex spans over 4.5 hectares and offers all necessary amenities for visitors, including a spacious parking lot for 1,000 vehicles. The main three-story building houses nearly 500 specialized stores selling construction and household goods across a total area of 42,000 square meters.
To ensure transparency and protect consumer rights, all product and pricing information is integrated into a unified electronic system, which helps prevent unjustified price hikes. The complex holds great socio-economic importance; once fully operational, it will provide permanent employment for approximately 2,000 citizens.
It has the capacity to serve up to 3 million customers annually, with expected tax contributions exceeding 32 billion soums per year. Furthermore, solar panels installed on the roof cover a significant portion of the building's energy needs.
During the visit, the Head of State emphasized that this complex should establish new standards of culture and quality in the construction materials trade. The President instructed officials to increase the number of such specialized modern trade centers around Tashkent, highlighting the need to prioritize local manufacturers and organize efficient delivery services to ensure maximum convenience for the public.
