In Uzbekistan, a number of important changes are being implemented in the admission processes of state higher education institutions and professional education institutions. In order to increase the choice opportunities for applicants and ensure transparency, starting this year, entrance exams will be organized based on a new system.
According to the government decision, from now on, admission to all state higher and professional education institutions will be carried out based on the principle of "first test, then selection." This aims to create more convenient and fair conditions for applicants during the exam process.
Starting this year, applicants will participate in a unified test exam and, based on their results, will have the opportunity to participate in the selection for admission to higher education institutions' bachelor's programs, and then to professional education institutions.
The admission processes will be conducted in two clearly defined stages:
In the first stage, all applicants will register online every year from June 5 to June 25 (including June 25). During this period, they will determine the subjects for the test, the area where the test will be conducted, the language of instruction, and if there is a professional (creative) exam in the chosen field, they will specify the state higher education institution where these exams will be held.
In the second stage, after the test results are fully announced, applicants must choose a higher education institution, a bachelor's program, and the form of education within 15 days. If an applicant does not clearly specify the educational institution, field, and form of education in the second stage, they will not be included in the final selection process.
Additionally, applicants wishing to enter professional education institutions must specify the professional education institution, profession, specialty, and form of education within 10 days after the final results of admission to higher education institutions are announced.
The new system ensures fairness, transparency, and openness in the admission process while providing applicants with a wide range of choices. At the same time, this system serves to further strengthen order and discipline in the admission of students to state educational institutions and to increase young people's interest in education.
It is important for each applicant to familiarize themselves with these changes and carefully study the admission conditions and requirements. Remember that effectively utilizing the new opportunities in the educational process is in your hands. We hope that these changes will pave the way for you to take the first steps towards successful student life. Good luck!
