Cash payments allowed for alcohol sales in hotels and restaurants
Starting from June 1 of this year, an important change has been introduced to the regulations regarding the sale of alcohol and tobacco products in hotels and public catering establishments in our country. Zamin.uz reported on this.

According to the relevant decree signed by the head of state, entrepreneurial entities operating in this field have been granted the right to accept payments in cash for the sale of these products. This innovation is being implemented to further develop the service sector and create additional conveniences for customers.

According to the previously existing regulations, settlements for the sale of such products were carried out based on certain restrictions. Now, hotels, restaurants, cafes, and other public catering establishments will be able to accept cash directly from consumers during the process of providing their services.

This regulation serves to reduce excessive bureaucratic barriers for entrepreneurs and liberalize trade turnover. It is worth noting separately that this rule opens doors to new opportunities for industry representatives for the period until June 1, 2026.

According to experts, such an approach will help increase tourism potential and improve service quality. This is because tourists and local customers will have freedom in choosing the form of payment.

This, in turn, is expected to have a positive impact on increasing the revenues of public catering establishments and boosting economic activity. To ensure the implementation of the tasks specified in the document, responsible agencies are explaining the essence of the new regulation to entrepreneurs.

Such reforms are the next important step toward improving the business environment in our country and protecting the legal interests of entrepreneurs. The new rules and regulations will simplify the work process for industry representatives and increase the speed of customer service.
