
On the second day of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev's state visit to Azerbaijan, he visited the Heydar Aliyev Park located in Baku. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
There, he laid a flower at the grave of Heydar Aliyev, the national leader of the Azerbaijani people and the former president of the country, and paid his respects to the memorial. Heydar Aliyev governed the Azerbaijani state from 1993 to 2003 and is the father of the current president, having made significant contributions to state building and strengthening national sovereignty.
His place in Azerbaijani history is of particular importance. Additionally, Shavkat Mirziyoyev also visited the Victory Park in Baku.
There, he laid a flower at the monument dedicated to Victory Day, honoring the memory of Azerbaijani patriots. This modern memorial complex was established to immortalize the memory of national heroes who sacrificed their lives for the freedom and territorial integrity of the country.
