During the scientific and creative visit of the delegation from the Center for Islamic Civilization of Uzbekistan to Kuwait, important agreements were reached. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
During the visit, the delegation visited the "House of Islamic Heritage" and the "Tariq Rajab Museum," discussing the issues of showcasing unique artifacts of global significance at the exhibition to be held in Uzbekistan. Negotiations were held with Dr. Hadiyl Khalil Rashad, the coordinator of museum exhibitions.
During the discussions, the preparation for the international exhibition titled "Uzbekistan's Cultural Heritage - the Heritage of All Humanity," planned to open in Tashkent in 2025, was addressed. Agreements were reached on bringing historical rubies, jewelry, and other valuable artifacts from the Baburid era to Uzbekistan, placing them in the exhibition, and ensuring safe conditions.
Special showcases that meet international standards are being prepared for the exhibition items. Italian company Goppion and German company Glasbau Hahn are participating in this process.
As a result of cooperation between the museums, agreements were also made regarding transportation, packaging, and temporary storage. The Kuwaiti side announced that it would fully take responsibility for these processes.
In the second half of the day, the delegation of the Center for Islamic Civilization met with the leaders of the "Tariq Rajab Museum," Ziyad Rajab and Nur Rajab. During the conversation, plans for preparing a book-album about unique artifacts related to the history of Uzbekistan stored in the museum were discussed.
Ziyad Rajab stated that the exhibits to be showcased at the international exhibition have been selected and that an official presentation will take place in the coming days. Thus, two major museums in Kuwait and one private collection will participate in the international exhibition.
All exhibits will be insured, and the packaging and transportation will be coordinated for delivery to Uzbekistan. This cooperation not only strengthens cultural ties but also serves to promote the rich historical heritage of the Uzbek people to the global community.
