The demand for agricultural products grown in Uzbekistan is increasing in international markets. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
In the first five months of 2025, the export volume from our country to Great Britain doubled. Especially in recent weeks, the delivery of Uzbek melons to the British market has been established.
In the first ten days of July this year, 10 tons of melons were sent via the "Uzbekistan Airways" flight from Tashkent to London. These unique-tasting melons are generating great interest among British consumers.
Additionally, this year the export of legumes, dried fruits, and various nuts – including raisins, cherries, chickpeas, mung beans, grapes, and apricot kernels – has also become more active. Currently, Uzbek products are being sold in major retail chains in Great Britain.
According to experts, this trend is related to the growing attention to the agro-industrial sector, the quality of products meeting international standards, and the improvement of logistics routes. As a result, our national products are strengthening their position in the global market.
