The number of applications for cargo delivery across the country has increased by 73 percent compared to last year. According to the State Statistics Committee, in the first five months of 2025, the transport services market grew by 14 percent, reaching 70.7 trillion soums.
Export freight rates have remained at last year's level. Nevertheless, the number of applications for sending cargo abroad increased by 89 percent by the end of the quarter.
The largest growth was recorded on routes to Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Belarus. Although the number of import freight applications increased by 34 percent compared to last year, it decreased by 15 percent compared to the previous quarter.
The rates applied by carriers remain stable. Overall, an increase in prices and activity levels has been observed in the domestic freight market.
