
A presidential decree has been announced regarding measures to increase efficiency, proactivity, and effectiveness in the state governance system. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to this decree, new powers have been granted to the head of the presidential administration. From now on, he has the authority to appoint and dismiss the deputies of presidential advisors, the heads of structural divisions of the administration, the head of the compliance service, the head of the chancellery, and the administrative staff, including those previously appointed by the President.
Until relevant amendments to the legislation are made, all rights, privileges, guarantees, and powers established for employees appointed by the President will apply to these officials, as well as the procedure for granting access to state secrets. Additionally, the head of the presidential administration has the authority to approve staffing tables, attract local and foreign specialists and experts for the implementation of development projects on a direct contractual basis, and monitor the quality of their work.
In these processes, scientists, researchers, and scholars will also participate, and their salaries will be paid in national or foreign currency. According to this decree, the Automated Information and Communication Agency has been abolished.
Furthermore, five deputies have been appointed to the head of the presidential administration. These changes are considered an important step aimed at increasing efficiency in state governance.
