A 53-year-old kiosk seller in Krasnodar stole more than 1,000 lottery tickets from his workplace. Their total value is approximately 200,000 rubles, which is about 26 million soums at the current exchange rate.
The Regional Department of Internal Affairs provided information regarding this case. According to the owner of the lottery kiosk, after the sales volume strangely increased in recent days, the seller stopped coming to work.
He later reported to the police. The seller, who was soon arrested by law enforcement agencies, confessed during the interrogation.
According to police information, the man took lottery tickets without paying for several days during work hours, scratching off their protective layer, but was unable to win anything. Currently, a criminal case has been opened under the fraud article regarding this incident.
