Zelensky is working for peace in international dialogue
On August 7, Thursday morning, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he is conducting extensive diplomatic dialogues with the international community. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to him, the main goal of such communications is to achieve real and practical successes in attaining peace and to protect Ukraine's sovereignty and independence under any geopolitical circumstances. Zelensky stated that he plans to have an important conversation with German Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz.

Additionally, ongoing communications with high-ranking political partners in France and Italy continue. The Ukrainian leader mentioned that he has instructed to organize special format dialogues at the level of national security advisors.

Through this, he aims to make international dialogue more effective and meaningful. At the same time, in Moscow, the U.S. President's special envoy Steven Witkoff held important negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The negotiations lasted more than two and a half hours, focusing on the next cooperation mechanisms to resolve the Russia-Ukraine conflict. This was reported by Kremlin spokesman Yuri Ushakov.

Ushakov also emphasized that Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump may hold a personal meeting in the near future. The dates and location of the meeting are not yet clear, but this issue is actively being discussed in diplomatic circles.

According to TASS news agency, Moscow has not yet officially responded to Steven Witkoff's proposal for a trilateral meeting between Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump, and Volodymyr Zelensky.
