Witnesses filmed black smoke rising above the refinery and burning towers. According to the regional governor Vyacheslav Fedorishev, 13 drones attempting to enter the area were detected and destroyed.
However, he did not provide specific information about the fire at the refinery in Sizran. According to some sources, the fire lasted for several hours and firefighters were continuously working to extinguish it.
Additionally, a disaster occurred in the Kursk region as a result of drone strikes. Official information states that a drone hit a residential building, causing an explosion.
In the incident that took place in the Zheleznodorozhny district, one woman died and ten others sustained various injuries. It is reported that children are among the injured.
