
The historic summit planned between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump in Alaska on August 16 will conclude without any official documents being prepared. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov informed journalists about this. According to him, no agreements or official declarations are expected as a result of the summit.
Peskov emphasized that no documents have been prepared and the likelihood of any being produced is very low. At the same time, he noted that Kremlin leader Putin and Trump will outline the scope of possible agreements and mutual understandings during the meeting.
News about the face-to-face meeting between the two presidents spread on August 8. According to information, Trump planned to hold the summit following Putin’s meeting in Moscow with U.S. President’s special envoy Steve Whitkoff.
The meeting will take place in Anchorage, the largest city in Alaska. The event is expected to begin on August 16 at approximately 00:30 Tashkent time.
The summit will focus on discussing ways to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. This meeting is seen as an important event in political processes and is expected to play a significant role in defining strategic directions for both sides.
