The former Twitter logo was sold at auction for $34,400

The blue bird logo of the former Twitter was sold for $34,375 at the RR Auction. After the social network changed its name to X, this symbol was removed from the company's former headquarters in San Francisco.
According to RR Auction, the sold logo measures 3.7 meters by 2.7 meters and weighs 254 kilograms. The buyer's name has not been disclosed.
Previously, Elon Musk had put the furniture and professional kitchen equipment from the former Twitter offices up for auction.
After purchasing the social network, Musk reportedly failed to meet his obligations regarding office leases and contracts in a timely manner, according to ABC News. He also significantly reduced the number of employees.
According to media reports, Musk wanted to highlight the excessive expenses incurred by the previous management of the company by selling the former Twitter items. He also aimed to demonstrate that reducing company expenses is a priority for him.
It is worth noting that in April 2022, Elon Musk bought Twitter for $44 billion. In July 2023, he changed the social network's name and logo to X.
