Poland's Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski responded to Russian President Vladimir Putin's proposal to cease mandatory mobilization in Ukraine and not arm the armed forces, as reported by Tengrinews.kz citing “European Pravda.”
Sikorski said on X (formerly Twitter): “If Russia is concerned about foreign military aid during peace with Ukraine, then it should also stop acquiring weapons from Iran and North Korea.”
His statement aligns with other critical positions expressed by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, French President Emmanuel Macron, and British officials. They also rejected Putin's conditions for achieving peace with Ukraine and stated their readiness to continue military assistance to Kyiv.
Former U.S. President Donald Trump stated that no issues regarding Ukraine were discussed during his phone conversation with Putin.
