He stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed readiness to accept security guarantees for Ukraine. Additionally, Putin and Zelensky may reach a consensus on resolving the conflict in Ukraine through peaceful means.
According to Trump, the next important stage will be a trilateral meeting regarding Ukraine. He expressed confidence that following this meeting, there will be no acts of aggression by Russia against Ukraine.
Alongside the Ukrainian president, the meeting was attended by German Chancellor Friedrich Mers, British Prime Minister Kir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Finnish President Alexander Stubb, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. These discussions are aimed at making important decisions in international politics and ensuring lasting peace for Europe and the entire world.
