A deputy committed suicide in the Finnish parliament
On August 19, a tragic incident occurred in the Finnish parliament building. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

It was confirmed that a parliament deputy died by suicide. Emergency services received the alert about the incident at 11:06.

According to sources, the deceased was a deputy whose name has not yet been disclosed. The head of the parliament security service, Aaro Toivonen, confirmed this information.

The police have initiated an investigation into the incident. Law enforcement agencies stated that there are no signs of a crime in the deputy’s death.

Police patrols and doctors are working at the scene. Jukka Kopra, the leader of the "Coalition" party faction, announced that ministers heard about this tragedy during their summer meeting.

According to him, it is not yet clear which party the deceased deputy belonged to. Kopra described the situation as unfortunate and serious.

The parliament is currently on summer recess, with the autumn session starting on September 2. Organization representatives are demanding an analysis of the parliament’s recent activities in light of this event.
