For the first time worldwide, a special lane based on artificial intelligence technology has been launched at Dubai International Airport. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This was announced by the AZERTAC agency. The main goal of the new system is to speed up passenger movement and enable them to pass through immigration control without stopping or showing documents.
According to Lieutenant General Muhammad Ahmad Al Marri, Director General of the Dubai Residency and Foreigners Affairs Department, the artificial intelligence lane can serve up to ten passengers simultaneously. The system detects passengers before they reach the control points and ensures their security.
The introduction of the new lane will help double the airport's throughput capacity. This not only allows for fast and efficient management of passenger flow but also helps in timely detection of violations.
Additionally, suspicious passports and documents are immediately directed to the relevant specialists. It should be noted that Dubai International Airport retained its status as the world's busiest and most trafficked airport for international passenger transport by the end of 2024.
The new technologies reduce waiting times, regulate passenger flow, and create convenience for every traveler.
