India is working on a new project of strategic importance in the defense sector. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The country has begun creating a national air defense system. This system is called “Sudarshan Chakra” and, according to experts, it will be fully operational by 2030.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced this in a statement on the country's Independence Day. According to him, the new system will play a crucial role in ensuring national security and is known as the “Indian Dome.”
The “Sudarshan Chakra” system consists of four main components: surveillance, detection, tracking, and identification. With these functions, any threat coming from the air will be detected in time and effectively neutralized.
Additionally, the system extensively employs artificial intelligence technologies and advanced algorithms. This transforms the defense system into a rapid and intelligent decision-making innovative weapon.
This project serves to significantly enhance India's defense capabilities and strengthen the country's security. By 2030, the “Sudarshan Chakra” system is expected to be fully operational.
This will further boost India's military capabilities regionally and globally. Thus, the country is taking an important step in developing its defense industry.
