Bavaria's Prime Minister and leader of the Christian Social Union Markus Söder emphasized that deploying German troops to Ukraine is not appropriate without the involvement of the United States. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He expressed this view in an interview with the ARD television channel, stating that such decisions are not made without the participation of NATO military forces. According to the politician, there are currently no plans for NATO troops to participate in Ukraine, and this issue is not on the agenda.
He clearly stated that under any circumstances, NATO military forces will not be involved in this process. Earlier, US Vice President Jay Di Vance had noted the importance of ensuring Ukraine's security and defining territorial borders to achieve peace.
In his opinion, it is precisely through this approach that the necessary conditions for reaching an agreement between the parties can be created. This viewpoint outlines the main directions of the peace process.
Leaders of Germany and the United States are consistently working together to stabilize the situation in Ukraine and reduce military clashes. Therefore, there are no plans to independently send German troops to Ukraine, and cooperation with the United States is considered important in this matter.
Political and military cooperation in this area is expected to continue.
