An incident that took place in Sichuan province, China, attracted widespread public attention. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
A young food delivery courier saved a woman's life thanks to her quickness and responsible actions. According to information, on August 12, while on duty in Leshan city, a student named Zhang noticed a white pillow with the numbers "110 625" written in blood while walking along the road.
Suspicious of the situation, she immediately contacted the police. It was found that the numbers on the pillow indicated a specific address.
Since the "625" sign indicated a room number and floor, law enforcement agencies were dispatched to the scene. After breaking down the door, the police discovered that the woman had been locked in the dormitory for 30 hours.
It turned out that a woman named Zhou had been cleaning the house when the wind closed the door, but due to a broken lock, she could not get out from inside. Her phone was left in the hotel lobby, so she had no way to call for help.
The woman tried to ask for help by kicking the door, knocking, and hanging red clothes from the window, but none of these methods worked. Eventually, she bit her finger, wrote the numbers "110 625" in blood on the pillow, and threw it out the window.
When the police broke in, Zhou said she felt as if she were with her family. She offered Zhang 1000 yuan as a token of gratitude, but the young courier refused.
Zhang said, "I am still a student; it was just a simple good deed. Anyone would have called the police."
After the incident, Meituan, the company where Zhang works, awarded her the honorary title of "Pioneer Rider" and a reward of 2000 yuan. This event remains a vivid example of compassion and humanity in society.
Such actions further strengthen solidarity and readiness to help among people.
