Costa Coffee is losing its popularity among young people

Famous British Costa Coffee cafes are currently unable to attract as many customers as before. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The popularity of this chain is decreasing among young people. The main reason is related to changing tastes in beverages.

Nowadays, many young people prefer matcha drinks made from green tea instead of coffee. Although competing cafes have added matcha lattes to their menus, Costa Coffee has not yet introduced such innovations.

As a result, many customers are switching to Starbucks or small independent cafes. For example, Blank Street Coffee, opened in London, quickly gained great popularity on social media.

According to experts, people prefer to make regular coffee at home and go to cafes for unusual and new flavored drinks. If Costa Coffee does not offer modern beverages, it may fall behind its competitors in the market.

Additionally, Coca-Cola company is considering selling this chain, as the network purchased for a large sum in 2019 is currently not generating the expected income.
