An unexpected event occurred at the famous “Burning Man” festival in the Nevada desert, USA. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
A young family had a baby in their trailer, although the woman did not know she was pregnant. Festival participant Kayla Thompson said that on August 27, she spent the night in the trailer with her husband.
Suddenly, she experienced severe pain and gave birth to a 1.6-kilogram baby girl in the bathroom. According to Kayla, there were no signs of pregnancy during the term, and she had not planned to have a child.
After the birth, her husband ran out to get help and found a nurse, pediatrician, and gynecologist among the festival participants. After they provided first aid, the mother and baby were first taken to the festival’s medical center, then to a hospital in Reno.
The baby was transported by helicopter, and the mother by car. The family emphasized that this event was a very difficult moment for them.
The nurses at the hospital jokingly told Kayla that she “doesn’t look like a woman who just gave birth.” The festival organizers congratulated the Thompson family and issued a statement.
They emphasized that despite the wind, heat, and sandstorms, the beginning of new life represents the festival’s core values – life, connection, change, and joy.
